PRAYER

A lot of times I think that when people try to explain to other people how they feel about something, or when they are praying in front of other people during a church service, sometimes all they say is just a big jumble of fancy words that don't even mean anything to them. They say it just to impress people. Man, I wish
people would say what's on their mind without using all those fancy words and weird metaphors. I admit that before I realized that praying was more of a conversation with God than just a jumble of fancy words, I used to pray the exact same way.

Praying is important. Sometimes I, like a lot of other people, dose off or start to think about something else during my prayer. This is bad. Remember, paying is having a conversation with God. That's like talking to someone face to face and falling asleep in the middle of the conversation! I guess what I'm trying to say is that prayer is an important part of your relationship with God and it is something you should take seriously and not lightly.
